Which boot are you sizing?

Every style fits a little differently, so we'll use that boot's own measurement chart.

Let's find your true boot size

This takes about a minute and checks both foot length and calf fit — the two things that actually determine how a boot with a fitted leg fits.

You'll need a soft tape measure (or a strip of string/paper and a ruler).

Measure your foot length

Stand on a sheet of paper against a wall. Mark the wall at your heel and at your longest toe, then measure the distance between the marks.

Measure both feet if they differ — use the longer one.

Measure your calf

Wrap the tape around the widest part of your calf, wearing what you'd normally ride in (jeans or breeches, not thick winter layers). Keep the tape snug but not tight.

Why this matters: most boot returns on styles with a fitted leg come down to calf fit, not foot size — this one measurement matters more than your usual shoe size.

This style publishes separate measurements for each group below.

What's your usual UK size?

This style doesn't publish a foot-length chart, so sizing is based on your usual UK size instead.

Measure your calf

Wrap the tape around the widest part of your calf.

Half chaps are sized by calf circumference alone — there's no boot/foot measurement to check.
